AV Microstories Reader was created as a way of preserving family memories that might otherwise be forgotten.
The stories are inspired by real moments, then reshaped into short fictionalized narratives that preserve the humor, awkwardness, surprises, and emotional truths that make family stories worth retelling. Rather than serving as a historical record, the reader is designed to capture the feeling of the moment.
The current collection contains thirty-three stories spanning childhood, family life, and motherhood. Each story can be read in just a few minutes and is accompanied by thematic categories and illustrations that help readers browse the collection.
A key part of the project is its bilingual design. Every story is available in both English and Spanish, allowing memories to move more easily across languages and generations.
