Thinking Stories was created as a way of helping my daughter explore emotions without turning every feeling into a direct conversation with a parent. The goal is to give children a space where they can reflect independently while still feeling quietly supported in the background.
Each feeling leads to a scenario, and from there the child can explore three ways of interpreting or thinking about that experience. Rather than telling children what to think, the app presents three emotional perspectives and allows them to identify with the one that resonates most.
The current evolution of the project, still under development, is focused on allowing children to enter their own emotional scenarios. For example: “My friend is mad at me.” The app would then generate three ways of understanding or emotionally framing that situation, encouraging reflection, empathy, and emotional flexibility.
